Just wanted to say thank you for all your support with the purchase of my new curtains and blinds. Right from our initial contact you have been nothing but professional, and considerate of my personal situation.
It blows my mind how you are able to visual rooms, colours, and designs. You were able to see what was important to me inside, as well as the outdoor environment. Working just from my choice of wall paint colour (a manufacturer’s swatch which you sourced), you found the most beautiful fabrics, which have turned out perfectly.
The sunscreen blinds are simply genius, allowing light to filter through, but cutting out the harsh light, and heat.
Thanks, also, for going above and beyond duty when I commented about trying to make another paint colour selection - you just said “send it to me, and I’ll have a look”.
Your installer, Miles, was brilliant when he came, working efficiently, and explaining little details that I would never have considered.
Thanks once again for everything, I am beyond thrilled with the end result.
Waipu client:
A year ago I moved into the Baldero Cottage at 3 Cove Road Waipu. It had been functioning as a natural health clinic for the previous 8 years or so and of course there was a bit to do to convert it back into a dwelling and also to plan ahead for the shop I have just opened. I called on Sue for advice. She responded quickly to my SOS .
She is very knowledgeable but not overbearing and a delight to work with.
I am thrilled with the solutions she offered up! I had to balance the need for privacy with the need for light and I feel confident that I had the right person on the job. I have called her back a couple of times for more assistance and she has been most generous with her time. I am so grateful for her knowledge and expertise!

Very impressed with your service Sue, you were bright, friendly, courteous and willing to listen first to what people think they need, then guide in a way which was not pushy but most helpful. I never felt rushed to make a decision. You even supplied me with a piece of sun-filter so I could see what it looked like during the day and then at night. When we were having trouble with colours for the blinds, you took the time to take them home and check what the samples looked like at night and in the daylight for me. You were always available after hours – to the point of ringing me at 7am one morning to allow me to confirm my order before you placed your main order at 9am so I wouldn’t miss out. You also kept me informed via texts/phone calls and any changes, modifications done to the order were revised efficiently and promptly sent to me so I was aware of my costs at all times. When it came time for the installation you also assisted Myles with this and were very particular, even to the point of having a damp cloth to wipe off marks that I had not seen on the window surrounds. There was one blind that had a mark on it. You took this down and took it back to the manufacturer to be fixed then came back and replaced it for me. Also when the manufacturer had not put the right length cord on the blinds you requested, you gave them the length’s needed and when they resent them you came armed with your trusty drill and screws and completed the installation.

Hi. I am posting a personal recommendation to all in our local area who are keen to get new blinds or curtains. Sue from Bream Bay Curtains and Blinds lives locally, and she has recently installed blinds throughout our house in Waipu.
I am passing on her info, as we found her wonderful to deal with, and we are very pleased with the result. All our curtains needed replacing, and the "blinds" option has really worked for us. The whole process took no time at all, and Sue provided great advice throughout.
